The Jen Jones Welsh Quilt Centre in Lampeter Town Hall

Jen Jones, my wife, is well-known for her remarkable collection of antique Welsh Quilts. While these have been exhibited all over the UK and in many other countries around the world, they have no permanent home in Wales.
A few years ago, Lampeter's Town Hall became redundant and now we are able to buy it and convert it into a centre for the promotion of Welsh quilts and quilting.
Most of the Town Hall's first floor is taken up by a lofty courtroom where Jen's quilts will be exhibited alongside "guest" quilts from other major collections.
As a venue for quilt and textile related events, seminars and courses, the Welsh Quilt Centre will have international appeal and will help to turn Lampeter into a destination in its own right.
