This prominent landmark across Aberaeron's harbour had become run-down
and drab; an eyesore amongst the town's colourful terraces.
The PCC, concerned that it projected a poor image of the Church, asked
us to help. With the help of my friend Malcolm Jefferies the Parish
raised nearly a third of a million pounds to re-roof, replace derelict
stonework and get rid of acres of yellowing plastic window protection.
The scheme benefited from the skills of superb stone masons and stained
glass specialists, all homegrown Welsh.
